Only 50 percent of the web pages in the top 5 results contained keywords in the title tag, while 43 percent had it in the header. The message was pretty clear: avoid adding the keywords more than once, and create content that sounds natural.

Second, photos and videos don’t add optimization value to web pages (although it makes the content more credible and formal). Of the 500 analyzed web pages, the average number of photos was 7, and a lot of them didn’t have any images at all. Videos didn’t fare any better, having less than one per page average.

Third, there can be no effective SEO without the aid of social media. The highest ranking web pages were tweeted hundreds of times, and were liked and shared on Facebook thousands and hundreds of times, respectively.
